The Caister Volunteer Lifeboat Service required internal alterations to the existing boathouse in order to accommodate the new Medina Class Lifeboat that arrived in 2023. The alterations also included new office space and crew facilities.
The project also involved a new shop with serving counter internally and serving window externally. A new entrance area to provides for separate public and private access with both stairs and lift. At first floor a commercial kitchen area is provided with a balcony next to the café.
