When it comes to renovating older properties you need to be sure that the building company you choose is able to treat the building with the respect and sensitivity it deserves. Ovamill have experience of a wide range of renovation and conservation projects from barn conversions to Grade II listed building refurbishments.
With our knowledge of this type of work and wide ranging skills we are able to incorporate an array of sympathetic methods and materials which are appropriate and in keeping with the style of build. We are used to working with conservation and planning departments, alongside building control, structural engineers and architects.
Renovation Work
Our past renovation work includes extensive refurbishment of several grade two listed cottages on the Blickling Estate near Aylsham including major roof repairs, complete electrical rewires, installing wood burners and fitting new kitchens and bathrooms, remedial carpentry, fitting new doors as well as secondary glazing. A number of pamment floors have also been laid and we have even been contracted to fit new carpets and completely redecorate the grade two listed cottages, which indicates the trust the estate has in our work and our ability to finish to a very high standard.
Given our groundworks and concreting abilities, we are well placed to provide structural, remedial work including precision underpinning and retro-fitted concrete and limecrete raft slabs to stabalise older properties which traditionally were built with little or no foundations.

Working closely with your designer/architect we can supply full project management of new build projects using our in-house team of specialists.
From multi-house new build projects to individual properties we can project manage the entire process to deliver a high quality end product, built to exacting standards.
